In 2018 The Royal Air Force celebrated its 100th anniversary. Newspapers showed pictures of a magnificent fly-past over London.  But the events of the Second World War were frequently simplified to a few fearless Spitfire pilots scaring off Adolf Hitler.  Robert will explain the complexity of aircraft missions across the globe during those daunting years - wishing to widen understanding of those formidable undertakings that have shaped modern Europe.
