During the Annual Meeting of Bewdley Town Council on Friday 11th May 2018, Councillor Roger Coleman was elected Mayor for 2018/2019.

Councillor Coleman took over the role from Councillor Mrs Anna Coleman who is now the Mayoress of Bewdley.

Councillor Coleman said that he was "honoured and privileged" to be able to represent Bewdley as Mayor and thanked his fellow Town Councillors for electing him.

The new Mayor will raise funds for charities that support the detection and treatment of prostate cancer.

During the meeting, Councillor Philip Edmundson was elected as Deputy Mayor for the third time with the new Young Mayor of Bewdley, Star Powell, also receiving her pendant.
