"On Yer Bike!" at Bewdley Repair Cafe
Bewdley Town Council
Transition Bewdley Repair Café: Saturday 19th. May at St. Georges Hall, Bewdley from 10.00 – 2.00
“On yer bike!”
The May Repair Café will have an additional dimension. In addition to the usual tool sharpening and repairs for electrical appliances, furniture, garments, jewellery and toys we will have a special bike workshop.
In preparation for the Bewdley Bike Week which runs from 27th May to 1st June we are encouraging everyone to get their bikes out from sheds and garages and bring them along to the Repair Café. Volunteers from the Wyre Forest Cycle Forum will be joining our regular team of volunteer repairers. They will give your bike a safety check, adjust brakes, gears etc. to make sure it is working efficiently. If necessary they will mend punctures, replace brake blocks etc. and if unable to fix problems on the spot, will advise on where to get the appropriate spare parts and show you how to fix it yourself or get expert help. You will then be able to safely join in all the fun of Bewdley Bike week and hopefully continue enjoying your bike through the summer.
