This week Monday 14th November – Friday 18th November Richie Anderson from BBC WM is doing a 250 mile tandem bike ride around the Midlands. He’ll be doing the whole 250 miles with different celebrities doing each leg. They are doing 50 miles a day and it will push their bodies to the limit, not to mention the awful weather so the team are after as much support as possible!

On Wednesday 16th November Richie rides through Bewdley Town Centre with Olympic cyclist and Bromsgrove girl Jess Varnish on the back of the bike. They hope to arrive between between 2.30-3pm.

The team would love for local people and businesses to line the streets as we drive past and show your support. The bike will be led by a security marshal and trailed by a Children in Need van with a beacon on. There will be a camera crew and Pudsey himself who will stop for selfies! There will also be bucket collectors who would love to get as many pennies as possible.

A tracker of our journey will be on the BBC website so you can see exactly where the team are at all times!

It would be lovely for Jess to see a  crowd so feel free to spread the word and help smash last years £37million raised by Children in Need.

All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult – Please DO NOT throw money at the riders, wait for a bucket collector to approach you.
