Forget Broadway and the West End – tickets are now on sale for an open air summer concert in Bewdley featuring songs from the musicals.

The concert takes place on Saturday 11 August in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens in Bewdley, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

Students from the Talking Props Performing Arts Studio will perform a selection of famous tunes from the musicals.

Doors open from 5pm and you are invited to bring your own chairs and picnics for a fantastic evening of popular entertainment.

Tickets costing £12 for adults and  £8 for children are available online at www.wyreforestdc.gov.uk/bookings or by visiting or calling Bewdley Museum on 0845 607 7819. Family tickets for families of four are also available, priced £38.

Councillor Juliet Smith, Wyre Forest District Council’s Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Community Protection said:

“This promises to be a great evening of entertainment.  Jubilee Gardens is a wonderful setting for outdoor concerts and we are fortunate to have such a beautiful space on our doorstep. Our summer concerts are always very popular and I’m sure tickets will be in great demand.”
