The banks of the River Severn in the town were illuminated by the Son et Lumiere as enchanting songs, bright lights and story telling dazzled the crowds.

The performance was held to illustrate the history of Bewdley since the 13th century.

It was held as part of the national Heritage Open Days 2017 event, which sees 300 sites around the country opened to the public.

Bewdley Choral Society performed songs in between a narrator who spoke about the history of Bewdley.

The crowds gathered on Severnside North to watch the performance, which was held on the banks of the River Severn at Bewdley Rowing Club
