A story of unruly and passionate romance will be taking centre stage in Bewdley next month.

The famous Emily Bronte novel, Wuthering Heights, comes to Bewdley Museum on Sunday 7 July from 5.30pm.

Heartbreak Productions will take you on a journey into the realm of Wuthering Heights, home to the Earnshaw family and the mysterious orphan, Heathcliff.

While under the care of the wealthy Mr Earnshaw, Heathcliff’s blossoming relationship with the gentleman’s daughter, Catherine, hits an abrupt end.

The play promises to bring this iconic tale of a timeless love affair between two restless souls into life.

Councillor Helen Dyke, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Community Protection said: “This is an evening not to be missed set in the backdrop of our beautiful Jubilee Gardens. The brilliant Heartbreak Productions bring the classic story of Wuthering Heights to life.

“This is the first of many events taking place this summer in Wyre Forest – make sure to book now to avoid disappointment.”

Tickets are £12 per adult and £8 per child. There is also a family ticket for £38 (2 adults and 2 children), tickets can be purchased from the museum by calling 0845 607 7819 or online www.wyreforestdc.gov.uk/bookings.
